Kimono Craze

Light, kimono cardigans are at every turn. Like any other fashion trend, kimonos started off being extremely popular among one specific style group. The boho chic one out of your group of friends was probably instantly in love, while the rest of you thought she’d win the who wore it best award if you were to wear it. Soon after, a brave fashionista from the bunch tries it on and now, here we are, shopping for kimono jackets in all kinds of styles.

Chiffon kimonos with a lovely floral print, lightweight and fringed kimonos in neutral shades or simple, solid colored kimonos we’ve seen them with leggings, mini denim shorts and khakis and I think they work with pretty much anything.

Since it’s summer, I’ve seen floral kimonos more often than the rest. But, I think the solids and neutral fringes will be more prevalent in the Fall with a cute pair of jeans and brown boots.

Whether I’d be doing some fall or summer shopping, I know kimono cardis (like the ones below) are an absolute must-have for this year!
